AAMFT-Supervision

We offer bilingual (Spanish/English) and culturally diverse supervision and mentoring (supervision of supervision) to therapists looking to hone the essential skills required for delivering excellent client service, all the while cultivating their unique therapeutic style.

Since we will assume ultimate responsibility for the clinical work under supervision, we kindly ask that you submit a copy of your malpractice insurance. Additionally, we’ll need copies of any relevant policies and procedures as outlined by your school, agency, or licensing board in relation to your supervisory role. It’s also important for us to receive copies of the documents you’ll be using to track your hours. Although we may not delve into every aspect of your supervision relationships, it’s essential for me to have an overall understanding of your counseling responsibilities

Our Supervisors are:

Supervision Goals

Our primary objective is to foster a safe and trusting relationship where you can openly share your concerns and fears within the supervision space. Long-term goals are focused on enhancing your clinical competence and fostering your professional and personal growth, as outlined by Lee and Nelson (2014). I encourage you to take an active role in your training and set your own goals for this supervision.

Supervision Process

Our supervision model is collaborative, emphasizing shared learning and the creation of new possibilities. Evaluation will be an ongoing process, underpinned by a culture of feedback, allowing us to provide insights to each other and facilitating mutual growth.

Ethical, Legal, and Clinical Issues

We believe that every situation can be addressed and resolved through open communication. However, if we encounter a challenge that seems insurmountable, I will encourage us to seek consultation from our peers and supervisors to gain broader perspectives and identify potential solutions.

Costs

The cost for individual supervision or supervision of your supervision is $75.00 per session. For group supervision, where up to three participants may engage, the cost is $50.00 per session.
